In this copy, you can render your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) unreadable. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, yet within four weeks. Bechtel GmbH would also like to draw your attention to your right to submit a complaint to the national authority for data protection, the German Data Protection Authority.
